Snopczynski Posted July 24, 2008 Report Posted July 24, 2008 -Pro circuit pipes and silencers. -Mikuni TM 28mm carbs or Keihin pwk 28mm carbs. -Stock intake, stock boost bottle. -Dynoport port job. Your gonna want to tell him you want a port job for the 2 into 1 pipe riding the dunes and trails, compression set at 165 psi. (exh duration set at about 185-188 degree range) Ask him to knife the intake bridge a bit, and grind the step into a ramp in the top of the intake. -Dyna ignition, set on curve 3. -Timing advanced 4 degrees. (preferably programmed into the ignition). -Run 160-165 psi compression so you can run 92 octane. Preferably run Pro design cool head. -Cascade clutch kit and pancake bearing adjuster. Run all the springs in the kit, get an easy pull clutch lever. -Have the cases match ported to the cylinders. -Run the proper base gaskets to get a squish tolerance of .045" -Wiseco pistons. -Lightened Flywheel -Stock reedcages with Carbon tech low tension reeds if more for trails. Special order mid tension reeds for some decent drag racing power. -Dyna ignition coil. -BR8ES plugs. -13/44 13/45 or 14/46 gearing depending on tire size. -Call Cascade and order a set of Works shocks for the front (steelers with no resevoirs). Talk to Rich at dynoport, his protege actually does the portwork for him now. http://dynoport.com/ Only others I recommend for this job is Dan at Patriot Racing. http://patriotracing.net/ Cascade Innovations website. CAscade Innovations Carbon Tech website http://www.carbontech.com/ All this ought to get you around 67hp, 42.5 ft lbs of torque, and a torque backup of about 1,500 rpm. Maybe even more cause my cases are not match ported and my intakes still have the step in them. Quote
mississippi banshee Posted July 24, 2008 Author Report Posted July 24, 2008 thanks man just the info i needed Quote

Dynoport not Dyna does the portwork. What do you mean by including cylinders? Portwork is supposed to be done on the cylinders. 20cc-21cc domes with 185-188 degree duration. They only make one design of pro circuit pipes. Quote
mississippi banshee Posted July 24, 2008 Author Report Posted July 24, 2008 Where you located in Mississippi? oxford Quote

okbeast Posted July 24, 2008 Report Posted July 24, 2008 625 seems a little high for just portwork. You could get it from other well-known guys for around $300 I would think. Now if it included a bore and piston kit then that would be a little more reasonable. Quote

Snopczynski Posted July 24, 2008 Report Posted July 24, 2008 there is only one pro circuit banshee pipe. Did Rich say he would match port the cases and do the intake step for that? He could have someone else do it, but if he did then he wouldn't be getting a port job from one of the best low-mid motor guys in the small engine industry. There are not that many good low-mid guys out there that like to do that type of work. He also dyno tests his work and has developed his engine packages based on his R&D work. Google "banshee pro circuit". Quote
mississippi banshee Posted July 24, 2008 Author Report Posted July 24, 2008 so this guy is the real deal in that case i will pay the 625 because he sounded like a cool guy on the phone and when i said what type of riding i was doing he told me pretty much the same stuff you said so i will ship my stuff off maby next week after i do some more research and thsnks for all the help man i know iam on your last nerve by now Quote
okbeast Posted July 24, 2008 Report Posted July 24, 2008 If you wanna pay that much cool go for it. I'm just saying that a great port job could be had for quite a bit less and with some different gearing/tire setups he could still have a great "woods" bike and save a little money. Quote
