ChippewaTSI94 Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 (edited) Well, everyone, I just bought myself a rolling chassis and a motor from seperate sources and have put them together in hopes of building a decent sand bike. I am not new to modding and hot rodding, but this is my first two stroke and first quad in general. Here is what I have: Stock motor, rebuilt with Wiseco pistons, .020 overbore Hot Rods crankshaft, stock stroke Stock head, not shaved or milled in any way Mild dune port FMF Fatty Gold Series pipes FMF Turbine Core 2 silencers Boyesen reeds Stock timing settings Stock carbs w/ TORS removed (using Vito's kit) K&N pod filters w/ outers Everything else on the engine which hasn't been listed is stock What does everyone recommend as far as jetting is concerned? I bought a Vito's jetting kit and have installed the jet needles, but I am not sure what to use as a baseline for the main jet. I will be riding at Silver Lake in Michigan, which is around 700 ft. above sea level. Most all of my riding will be easily below 1000 ft. Thanks guys! Edited July 14, 2008 by ChippewaTSI94 Quote

Thanks guys! i would start out with 320 mians 27.5 pilot and the needle in the 3rd clip from the blunt end. i had a bike with very similar mods and i am in MI as well, that shoud be a good starting point for you. once you get it running you may have to go up or down a size on the main,..just read your plugs Dan Quote
