hi .i searched the archives and went to google but souldnt find much ....over the winter im planning on building a 4m strocker and i was looking for some stock jugs but them i was introduced to some big bore jugs and i know nothing about them ,,,so i was hoping that someone could give me some info . will my stock carbs and intake fit? will a cool head fit? and the big bore is 69mm is that std. for a big bore? would it be okay to run like a 4mm long rod stroker with a cool head and 20 or 21 cc domes . stock carbs for now....................what would your reccomendations be on the dome size and carb type im looking to build a great trail bike and a nice and fast ride . i live near a straight away and i race people around here and i would love to beat them all. so it would have to be a mixture of trail and drag any and all info is appreciated .

is it a after market cylinder or is it it the stock jugs with big bore sleeves?

you can run them with a 4 mil long rod crank but you'll possibly need domes cut and the port timings corrected. You can use stock carbs.. but it'll be holding back the motor. As far as the head goes.. I'm not 100% sure but I think I heard someone say 69mm is the biggest the pro-design style domes could go.. I know the trinity style domes can go bigger.

I don't recommend big bore sleeved stockers. The transfer area is already choked without the big bore sleeves...which only cuts into your transfers worse. Without welding the transfers, more power can be made with stock sleeves. Also, if these are used jugs it will depend on what sleeve was installed how far they can be bored out. Also, have they already been ported? If so, for what stroke?? You may not be able to re-cut them for the 4mil. Just my .02.
