xXBlessedWithDeathXx Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 I may be looking to swap out the shocks below. description above. they are in excellent shape minor rust. it wipes off and if i did trade i would take care of that. i`m looking to get $350 and a pair of after market shocks. i`m not sure of what rider weight they are for but i`m 230 and the original owner is about 180 pounds. the measure 14 3/4 in length from middle of eye to eye. all hardware included. maybe this is to much to ask for if so i`ll keep them. i can get better pics if asked. if i did this trade it would be after the 4th of july weekend seeing i have plans to ride and only have them shocks. I never used covers. would i have a problem with moisture? they are nice shocks i dont want to get covers and pull them off a month or 2 later to see nothing but rust. like i said i never used them so i dont know if that would be a problem. On the below pictured bike I have the blue springed works shocks and not a problem to date. Have had those shock covers on the entire time I have owned this bike, over 5 years, with no rusting issues. Quote
