For illustration purposes I have used a picture from one of xXBlessedWithDeathXx's

threads... I hope you dont mind...

When I put the Shee on jack stangs and grab the front tire at the 9 and 3'o-clock positions

and pull with one arm and push with the other back and forth I get 1/4" tp 1/3" inches of

lateral play where the (upper arm) J-arm bolts to the frame as indicated by the "BLUE" arrow.

It is engough play that the J-arm will actually make contact with the spring. This is indicated

by the "YELLOW" arrow. I assume the bushing or something in this assembly is shot? Also

is it now unsafe to ride? If it is the bushing can anyone recommend a good set to replace

them all upper and lower both sides? Also yes, all nuts are tight on all pivot points.

Thanks guys...

Mike

Dan,

Will they work on the j-arm? I have an 87 j-on top a-on bottom... I assume since its just

the bushing it will fit in the holes? and since its a j-arm setup I would need 12 correct? You

can get the delrons online for like a buck, buck and a quarter per bushing... How many do

you have? 16?
