Snopczynski Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 My cousin took one of our friends z400 carb off to do a jet kit. He put it on and its is flowing gas out the vent tubes and when he does get it started it runs like crap. I am obviously gonna know the floats may be stuck or there is crap in the needle and seat. Does anyone have any other ideas as to whats wrong? Does anyone one know what carb is on it stock? Quote

And also, it has a vacuum valve for the fuel shutoff right? its supposed to only flow fuel when it has vacuum to it, so make sure that hose is connected properly. Hopefully, that points you in the righ direction. Quote
