set your bike up on a stand on the frame so the swingarm is hanging. Take out the bolt that holds the dogbone linkage to the swingarm. Take out the bottom bolt for the shock. Take out the top bolt for the shock. I just swapped mine out yesterday. Go in reverse to put it back together.

yeah and take the bolt out that holds the linkage (that the bottom of the shock bolts into) to the swingarm so that it will drop out of the way.

ok hey thanks for your help gonna go do it now

cool let me know how it goes for you. it's pretty simple once you look at it and start taking out a couple of bolts.

yea got a diff one off ebay

did you try adjusting the compression damping (i think thats what it is called) with the little dial on the reservoir? that should slow it down from bottoming out on you. It will still go down easy at first but will get harder quicker, at least that is my understanding. maybe somebody with a little more suspension experience will chime in.
