Slayer1018 Posted May 16, 2008 Report Share Posted May 16, 2008 I couldn't see spending $850 on a rear Elka shock so the mechanic at Yamaha recommended Race Tech's Gold Valve. Anyone have experience w/ these? He said my rear shock would be just as good as WORKS after the installation.. $168 is much better than spending even $600 on a WORKS.. PM gimeeabeer on here, he has fooled around with alot of those things with a bit of success. He has a pretty hardcore internship this summer, so we don't seem him around here as much as we used to. We have one of the best mechanics around here who has done work for a local who has beat Tavis Cain, Dana Creech, Harold Goodman.. Check him out.. He is the guy on the ATK.. John Nadeau..
