I went from stock carbs with 330 main jets in them to Mikuni TM 34 flatslides bored out to 35.5 mm. If all my mods stay the same and only switch the carbs, do my main jet sizes need to go up, down, or stay the same? I know just do a chop but I was trying to today and the wind was so bad at the damned dunes I couldn't do any jetting, too much sand blowing in everything.

I am assuming you ride in utah being from wyoming? If so I run a 290-310 with those carbs. More air moveing across the needle jet means it will pull more fuel with it. Stock carbs I ran 350's or bigger.

I just did some tuning today and I have 320's in right now. It's a little rich yet but I think I've got it close. Lots better than at first when I pulled my plugs and they were bright white yet.
