mickrmoore Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 (edited) Hi i'm new to jetting. I'v had fmf fatty's on my banshee for some 2 years now i never messed with the jetting other than putting the new main jets that came with the pipes,i'm not sure what they are. I never fouled a plug and it always ran fine ,the motor is stock.I recently put on a pro-design air filter with no lid, I run castor 927 oil at 32:1 my elevation is 700 and temp is 75, I'm going to do a plug chop but can you get me in the ball park where my jetting should be at. ASRBanshee Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 What are you running right now. I would say 300 is a good starting point Quote
Hilarious Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 fmf gives ya 260's with the pipes and thats too lean for no air box lid. id say start with a 320, needles middle clip, start your air screws 2 turns out from fully seated. Quote
mopar1rules Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 i agree with what hilarious suggested to start off with, but i would also try 27.5 pilots. Quote
