Sorry another reed question

Does changing just the reeds and not the cage give you much of a performance increase or should I just spend the money and buy the whole set. Is it worth it?

in my opinion, replace the reeds only if you still have stock petals on stock cages.

 

Once you get into porting the motor is when the aftermarket cages really shine.

I learned a valuable life lesson when building my banshee over the years. If you buy the cheaper product when you really want the better more expensive one you will end up buying both in the long run. Now when i run into this problem i always get the better product. Go with some V force reeds. If you get the other you will eventually buy the vforces. That is good advice on any product for banshee.

Thanks guys I will probably end up getting the whole set up because I plan on getting it ported this summer any way.
