thegroup Posted May 7, 2008 Report Share Posted May 7, 2008 Ive got a 03 Z400as my trail bike and needing some ideas for it to get a little more kick. today i was out on it and it when to shits. found out the cam chain was streched and broke 3 links. decided to go a little deeper and found out the crank got hot (turn black and blue) so heres where im at, should i go ahead and put a 430 hot rods strocker crank in or got with a stock hot rods crank and a 435 big bore athena kit in? i know its a lot to be spending on a nothing special trail bike, but i need to do a some type of upgrade since my banshee doesnt like trails anymore and everyone i ride with has YFZ 450s 660 and 700 raptors. thanks for any help Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Porting,bigger carb,cam's If it where me and i wanted a stump pulling trail bike i would do the BB and the stroker crank but make sure you get them balanced toghter piston and crank then get the head ported and a yfz stock carb.
