bladesracing Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 I have a 4mil with stock ported cylinders and all kinds of aftermarket parts. It has a 4+ swingarm. Set up for mainly the dunes, but for fun I wanna race at an asphalt drag strip. Any ideas on what gears I should ues, currently they are stock. Thanks Ben Quote
docjcwatson Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 You could keep the tranny gears the stock ones. The sprockets though, I run an 18/38. - Justin Quote
trex banshee Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 is it drag ported?? or just a dune ported 4mill? How tall of tires you runnin? 18/38 is pretty damn tall and will be hard to pull if its just a dune port. Ive ran a few setups and had the best luck with 17/41 so far with 18" tires. Quote
bladesracing Posted April 30, 2008 Author Report Posted April 30, 2008 My tires are holeshots 20X11X8 and its a dune port. Thanks for any info. Ben Quote

Ben if i were you with a dune port and 20" tires i would start with 16/41 and see where that gets ya, thats what my brother ran on his dune ported banshee with 20" tires. Quote
