ok i was racing a CR250 the other day and he got me off the line and i didnt catch him til 4th gear so im lookin for some more power. Are there any bolt on cylinders that i can just drop on my stock crank and rods with new pistons and use my NOSS Head to make more power? And what does it entail to make it a 4mm stroker?

Before you get into all that....keep in mind.

A modern bike has a HP to weight that is hard to beat...but obviously it can be done.

It's more than just motor....once you make some good power, you have to have the suspension, chassis, gearing and tire setup to get that power to the ground. Making a 80 to 100 HP motor is relatively easy, harnessing it to the ground is whole other challenge.

First question...what is your budget.

Yep...save your money.

You could buy the bare essentials, a cylinder and pistons for that much.

Need upgraded clutch, tranny, swinger, shock...etc.

get your cylinders ported...

Then you'll want good pipes and bigger carbs.

Save another 1000 and you'll be set. I've got just over 2 grand in mine from stocker to cheata cub. I have bigger carbs, longer swinger, shearer pipes, intakes, pingel valve, and I think thats about it. I looked for the deals on everything though and had to do it step by step. Only thing I didn't get a deal on were the cylinders, it's pretty much the same anywhere you go unless you buy used.
