rubberneck Posted April 12, 2008 Report Posted April 12, 2008 do any one you use like blue loc-tite on your wheel nuts?? I do. I put blue loctite on everything. Not only will it keep things from vibrating loose, but it lubes the threads and prevents gauling and seizing when you do the install. I even use it on pipe fittings. Quote
dajogejr Posted April 12, 2008 Report Posted April 12, 2008 I'd just use a dab on a thread or two... With washers and the nut, it shouldn't come loose. I just started using blue loctite on my intake bolts...after a few came loose. Quote
KaosBanshee44 Posted April 12, 2008 Report Posted April 12, 2008 Just make sure you use blue. Red is for cylinder block bolts, ring gear bolts, transmission etc cause it's permanent strength. Sure you don't want to put that on and wanna change tires here and there and need a impact to take it off.....lol Quote
