Hilarious Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 drive the seal in, its 2 sided. lube it up. clymers said one side of the new seal is supposed to say "water side." i dont remember mine saying that but, that side goes twards the impeller. :teehee: then drive the bearing in behind it with the manufacturer's markings on the outside. :thumbsup: clear as mud? lol ooh, after you drive the seal in, make sure the little garter spring around the seal lip didnt come out before you put the impeller in.
