bansheejoel Posted March 4, 2008 Author Report Posted March 4, 2008 i have one i just was wondering if there were any tips on how to do it easier Quote
Michael Jackson Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 if it hasnt been opened up ever,or in a long long tim your gona need a specialty tool, some call it a bfh ..or big fucking hammer... those axle nuts can be a cunt Quote
NitroTate Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 Get your carrier all apart from the axle etc., then put it in the freezer for a few hours, take it out and if they don't come out fairly easy, hit the outside of the carrier with a heat gun for a little bit... Quote
1.6i Posted March 7, 2008 Report Posted March 7, 2008 whatever you think is gonna be a bitch to come loose or off, soak it in PB spray over nite..then work on it the next day.. Quote
bansheejoel Posted March 9, 2008 Author Report Posted March 9, 2008 well i got my axle off and bearing and seals out but when i was taking the left nut off of the axle it fucked up the threads and i spent all day today trying to find the right die to fix the threads. Not only did i not find one i have to order the damn thing and it is going to take 2 weeks to come in Quote
