Where to mount cdi and regulator?

Hey fouledout421, do you have an aftermarket subframe on your bike? It looks like it might be in that pic. Do you have any pics of it with the plastics off? What size is it. I was thinking 3/4 chromemoly to do mine.

 

 

Yep its a tyson chromoly subframe. not a 100% sure but I think its 3/4"

Thanks man, that kicks ass. Can you buy the sub frame from him and weld it on yourself, or does he only do the whole job. I have a mandrel bender and tig welder, but if i could buy one ready to weld on, it would simplify instead of jigging it up myself. Thanks. man for the pic

On my 2 lightened frames, I've relocated the stock bracket to the front. On my drag chassis, I used double sided tape and stuck the cdi (and rev limiter box) to the bottom of my aluminum tank...haven't ran it like this yet, but it seems to bond very well to the tank.
