i've been pondering this for a few days now. drag pipes don't have silencers. so can you run inframe pipes w/o silencers? Just add a 1" tube out to the back. yeah it would be loud but would it effect the performance of the bike. or whould it damage the bike in any way? ony thing i could think of is too much backpressure. but even w/ silencers all but the last 1' is 1" piping. i'm thinking about trying the 1" piping all the way back cause my silencers are cracked and i can't afford new ones. but i thought i'd get you alls oppinions first.

More than likely, it will run like shit, since the pipes were designed to be ran with the silencers. The pipes need a certain amount of back pressure to work right. By removing the silencers, and putting straight pipes on it, you are taking away the back pressure.

you could run straight pipes without hurting anything on the bike or the performence. the silencers are there just to decrease the noise. my husband runs a straight pipe when he drags his bansh

caution they are loud as hell that way

Im the one that runs the straight pipes that chasin is talking about. I didnt notice any performence change. mostly run them so I can hear my bike over the other bikes when we race.

This has been discussed on here before, and it's not recommended to run in-frames without silencers. Not only is it objectionally loud, which tends to piss off others, and just give them one more thing to gripe about, when it comes to ATV's, but the pipes were designed to be ran with silencers for the best performance. PM Fastoys, or one of the other local experts, if you don't believe it.

Wasn't trying to start a pissing contest here, but I have run mine several times with stingers instead of silencers. I noticed a slight loss of power off idle but, more mid to top. The huge drawback being the noise. I ran mine this way because I couln't afford oof's last year to drag and couln't hear my bike to shift over the other bikes with them. I would also like to add that I had to run my mains one size larger without the silencers. I probably would not recommend this for a play bike because they are louder than hell and probably illegal in most riding areas.
