wacko2000 Posted February 22, 2008 Report Posted February 22, 2008 I would like to have my jugs, repainted/powdercoated, whatever, Ill do it myself if you guys tell me what to use.. I need to now what has to be done...I have never removed/installed a cool head before... what should I look for..Also when I put the head back on, do I have to replace the head gasket or something? My jugs are starting to peel, and before they really start to look like ass, I would like to freshen them up.. I do have a clymer.. Quote

What do you use on them, same pc as the other parts, or is there high heat or something, I kno the jugs dont get that hot.. Quote

sheerider1026 Posted February 22, 2008 Report Posted February 22, 2008 just drain the coolant, you will need new base gaskets, and i would do a new head gasket, and possibly the reed/intake gaskets, if you do not rip them taking it apart i would reuse the intake gaskets Quote

Whats the guarentee here? well anything is destructible.. lol.. damn joey was you bangin it against rocks and shit?? pc is pretty tough shit but it can be scraped and scratched in rough conditions, i have powdercoated a lot of cylinders and the powder hols up fine to the temp. pm 00shee00 on here, those black ones you see are his, hopefully he has put them back on and ran them some..
