OR half assed get it boxed, take it to grey hound, have it shipped to the Cheyenne Wyoming Grey hound depo, give them my phone number and I will go pick it up when it gets there. Quote

I just didn't know if UPS would ship it that way since it's not in a box. But i remember when i got my frame in all it had was boxes pieced together with 6 rolls of tape...lol Quote

dajogejr Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 I would get cardboard boxes, break them down...and cover the frame in them. Then shrink wrap over it.... I know Greyhound will do it to, usually 75 to 90 bucks or so. Make sure you double cover any jagged or sticking out edges with the cardboard good, like the tail section, headlight mounts, etc.... KaosBanshee44 Posted February 21, 2008 Author Report Posted February 21, 2008 That's what i was thinking about doin, we have boxes and boxes of rags at work i'm gonna wrap it with for some cushion and then get cardboard to protect edges like you said. I just talked to my dad he said he's gonna get me a big roll of shrink wrap and i'll just send it out like that. Only thing that sucks Kiel is you may be a while taking the shrink wrap off but like i said i want it getting to you safely. dajogejr What's your name bro i see you on here all the time you seem to help out alot just sucks not knowing who you are...lol If you ever need anything let me know i'll see what i can do whatever the situation is. I have a few cosmetic things I want to get done this year, but...I have to freshen up the motor first. So...the speed/power take priority over looks.... Soon enough, though.... I've got a polisher and Chromer in MI, but...I need a good paint man whom I trust and can turn stuff around in a reasonable time. I just have to sell my ass on 8 mile for a few more months so I can afford some spray for my old skins... :whistling: Quote

I'd rather have all my cosmetics done and have the motor the last thing to do. I don't wanna build the bike put the motor in and go shit i need bigger carbs but i want my plastics painted cause they look like piss. Quote
