nitroburner13 Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 i am getting ready to put my case back together after a new crank. i want to put it together with stainless allen head bolts. the problem is i dont know what i did with my old bolts to take them with me and get new ones and i cant take the caes with me cuz i already have the tranny and the crank in there so i dont want to carry it into the hardware store. long story short i need the sizes of all the bolts that hold the cases together so i can go get them and get my engine back together. if anyne has those laying around i would really appreciate it if you could send those sizes over to me. thanks, adam Quote
KaosBanshee44 Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 Ebay has em' all day long and they come labeled as well. Quote
sinisterboo Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 if you are talking about the 10mm head bolts on top to hold the cases together, no, ebay kits dont have those. go to rivaracing.com, or any parts finder, and in the exploded view of the motor, they show the bolts, below thay show the length, thread dia. and a part number. take that length they tell u and go get your new shiny bolts! nitroburner13 Posted February 11, 2008 Author Report Posted February 11, 2008 damnit i never thought it would be this hard to find these sizes. i cant find them anywhere on the web. Quote
theshee Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 www.bikebandit.com has the oem ones and so does www.cascadeinnovations.net OEM ones are the best ones to get, some of the cheesy aftermarket ones will not torque down. Quote
