Thanks` I would stick to 4, it's semi drying and allows a little flex in the case. I'm not saying it won't work 100%, but I don't know of anyone using 5 for cases. Yamabond 4 is the same thing as Threebond 1104....scratch that, 1194 is what threebond now carries as the yamabond 4 replacement. It's been discontinued.... http://www.parkeryamaha.com/browseproducts...uid-Gasket.html Quote

FASTOYS Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 Threebond 1211 is Soooooooo much nicer to work with then that stringy yamabond! Quote
dajogejr Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 So Jeffrobroskijohnson.... No problem with cases sealing with the 1211? Do you use it the same, coat both sides, assemble and torque? Tired of looking around for the bond 4....a tried and true replacement would be nice!! Quote

Best thing we've used since the midget hooker we sent loco. Quote
