snowmanzz13 Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 okay, well i've had my banshee for a little over a year and i noticed that i was doing something seriously wrong. i bought the banshee and just kind of assumed jetting was good without really looking or checking my jetting to see where it was i was at 310 mains at sea level with t5's and it ran good, bogged alittle off the line. Well, just a couple weeks ago i read people going a season or two without doing the top end or having a piston pop or whatever. That got me to thinking, damn i've gone through maybe 5 top end rebuild since i had the damn thing!! i went and got a set of 330 mains and damn this thing seemed to wake up! a slight bog off the line, ever so slight, but runs beastly has more power all over then it did before, i thought before it liked o bring up the front end but damn now it's sick. my one thing is, if i was running really lean before, i was i able to make 20 or so 1/8 mile drag races with blowing it up or having any type of malfunction? i mean my passes werent just getting on it for a second or w/e but really getting it and shifting hard and just balls to the wall. the only times i've ever had it blow up was running 6th gear out on the levee's for a couple minutes or one time i had a fat chick along with me being big on it and going in 6th also well just thought i would let off a little steam as now it seems basically like a beast again and i think i should even go up another size or two Quote
