One other thing you could do is grind down that hump on the top of the intake and make it more like a ramp. Dont forget on the exhaust port, there needs to be a bit of a level shelf area next to the port window. That will shoot the scavenge charge up into the combustion chamber, and help it from pushing out towards the intake and transfer ports. Quote

That will shoot the scavenge charge up into the combustion chamber, and help it from pushing out towards the intake and transfer ports. hey snop thanx, im not a pro but i think i have a good handle on doing a fairly clean job, the results with the porting i am doing have been excellent, definately seat of the pants difference, i just need to learn a lot more to go deeper into port timings and blowdown, but like i said, the results have been very good, not a high hp drag port, but it defineately wakes the motor up. thanx again, if anyone wants to dedicate any more information it would be greatly appreciated. i have 2 more sets of cylinders i will experiment with later on after reading and getting more knowledge. i am also going to make a call to cc specialties Quote
