2strokeme Posted January 27, 2008 Report Posted January 27, 2008 I bought the 30mm carbs off ebay a while back and just now trying to get them on. If anyone has done this mod and have any comments or advice i would appreciate it. I'm relitively new on banshee's so any help would be appreciated. I noticed that also the fuel inlets on the carbs are different size than stock. Also the carbs are the exact same thing left and right. so the choke is on the inside and looks like it might not come out all the way. Weird design, you would think it would be made for each side. Might just take it to yamaha and say here ya go Any one with experience on this help me out please. thanks Quote
TexasBansheeMan Posted January 27, 2008 Report Posted January 27, 2008 this is an easy mod. The only hitch is the air box boots. dip it in boiling water then slide them over the carb and let it cool. it just streaches it a lil. other than that it just bolt and go!! there is a 30 mm oko thread on here I will see if i can find it. woodro77 Posted January 28, 2008 Report Posted January 28, 2008 i had the same carbs , the fuel lines are a different size , go to the hardware store and make up your own . carb will fit on stock boots but its a tight fit . takes some stretching . performance gain is well worth it . dont take it to yamaha , take your time and you will get them on .
