00shee00 Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 Well here the set-up .040 wiseco prolites, FMF sst, V3's, lightly ported cylinders and Iam planning on running a Noss head with 20cc. ? is should I stick with the stock carbs or go with some 28mm PWK's. I'd like to keep the air box no lid. Crank trued and welded!! Quote
sinisterboo Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 first off, what type of riding do you do, and what are some future mods you are thinking about? for your set-up i believe most people here will agreestockers are OK. but if you are planning to get heavy with it, the 28's would be a good start in my opinion. Mostly woods, down the road I'd like to send the cylinders out to get ported? Quote
sinisterboo Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 If porting is in you future then you will definately want bigger carbs to take advantage of the increased flow. have you read the thread on the 30mm oko carbs? they seem to be a very good carb and use common parts so tuning wont be an issue. what pipes were you running now?
