SnakeKiller Posted January 7, 2008 Report Posted January 7, 2008 Hey guys, my banshee has so much tranny pressure that it blows mass amounts of oil out the breather hose. Any ideas?? It runs ok through 1st and part of 2nd gear but when I get into third it just runs out of power and bogs, I can't even keep it up on the pipe. The tranny oil is normally red but after a short ride it'll be gray . Is it possible that I'm loosing crankcase pressure into the tranny, and what do I need to be looking for when I take it apart? It has drag ported cylinders and a 4mil crank and ran good for the first couple dune trips after I bought it but now it's started acting up. Thanks Quote

I have to change my fluid all the time from burning up clutches. If its milky whitish more so than grey, you might be takin on water. Quote
TexasBansheeMan Posted January 7, 2008 Report Posted January 7, 2008 (edited) Bad seal. Buy a Seal kit some threebond 1194 and get into it. Not much to look for other than a spot missing case sealer. This shit is bad! See some other post of Twister Motors RUINED by too much sealer, lots of this stuff is runny. The Threebond 1194 is not to bad, Get a palstic syringe so you can put a controlled amount on when using. I bet I got enough in 1 tubr of 3 1/3 oz. to do 100 sets! You want just enough to make a little bead come out all the way around. Little, mine is like 1/16 or less all the way around. It don't take much and this way is SUPER clean! Good luck!
