ramboner69 Posted January 1, 2008 Report Posted January 1, 2008 So A week or so back i blew my 2nd gear..one of my shift forks was bent..luckily i had a spare bottom end..so i sent it to my local shop to get checked and it was good..im currently running fmf fattys,boost bottle,& a K&N...the shop is fixing the trans dune porting my cylinders,v3 reeds,used cool head with new domes, used i shocks p51's,new uni filter,re jetting and tuning it..just curious how much more power ill notice also they are charging me $1300 for everything with parts including removing my motor is that a bad price? 1sreamin350 Posted January 1, 2008 Report Posted January 1, 2008 (edited) That is not a bad price. What do they charge for the portin alone? You may whant to hold off on them porting your cylinders. There are alot of great well known builders on here that would do a way better job on the porting, rather than having the average local shop do it. If you are interested hit up Rudy Kurtz from Port Magic Racing. He can knock those out for you in a few days. He is located in Hesparia Ca. good luck and have a safe NEW Years.
