I mounted my pump above the carbs on an aluminum strap, i dont have a very good pic... green arrow points to it

Kiel and I have done it both the same way, except I tapped the right side of the cylinder intake...just preference really.

I have my pump mounted the same spot, one hole lined up, the other I drilled. You have to make sure you can put your seat on all the way, I had to get a stack of washers and shim my pump down a bit....

 

Kiel uses the T fitting for making purging easier...

I like my way better. Get quick disconnects from Direct Drive...IMO, they make purging even easier....

I agree with dave 100% on the t-fitting deal... If I would have been kept my drag bike i would have pitched the t-fitting and did what Dave is talking about. The t-fittings are a pain afer the hoses harden in a week.
