theshee Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 I mounted my pump above the carbs on an aluminum strap, i dont have a very good pic... green arrow points to it here is where my vacume line went. Down in the intake. Quote
Dave I. Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 youre gonna love the meth tony...its fun. Quote
dajogejr Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 Kiel and I have done it both the same way, except I tapped the right side of the cylinder intake...just preference really. I have my pump mounted the same spot, one hole lined up, the other I drilled. You have to make sure you can put your seat on all the way, I had to get a stack of washers and shim my pump down a bit.... Kiel uses the T fitting for making purging easier... I like my way better. Get quick disconnects from Direct Drive...IMO, they make purging even easier.... Quote

If I would have been kept my drag bike i would have pitched the t-fitting and did what Dave is talking about. The t-fittings are a pain afer the hoses harden in a week. Quote
