NitroTate Posted December 11, 2007 Report Posted December 11, 2007 Hey guys, anyone have a rough estimate on what the highest temperature the exhaust pipes get at different locations on the pipes? For example right at the engine VS. at the expansion chamber and on back to the silencers. Thanks Tate Quote
Snopczynski Posted December 11, 2007 Report Posted December 11, 2007 The headpipe on a properly jetted motor should see 1250 degrees. Quote

Ok cool, that helps, so what do you think the expansion chamber right by your knees on a T5 gets to?? And what about the silencers? If you're not sure that's fine, I have a infrared thermometer I can use but it's really cold and snowy out right now so I don't really have a place to ride hard to get it up to temp... Thanks for the info tate Quote
