Gosh, I guess that would really depend upon where you were located.

I know they bring in a pretty good bit out west.

And it seems like one can find them fairly resonably priced in the

north east. I'd say 1500 and up depending upon the condition.

o man i never thought about lookin at kelly blue book.

so stock wats the top speed like

 

72 but it's all realitive to gearing. There are so many rpms ... so you translate that to gearing. Then with more power, taller gears and more speed. It's not the top speed... it's how fast you get there :evil:

i live in north carolina. are they dangerously fast stock cuz some people i have talked to say they are a lot faster than raptors just stock

 

Not the case. Been a long time since I've ridden a stock banshee but, IMO

given (2) riders of equal skill and that 700r is gonna give that stock banshee hell.

The new 700 raptors are not slow especially when you start modding

them with just pipes, power commander and an intake.

 

I believe I would look for a bike that's been modded. Suspension,

pipes or whatever. You're gonna mod it sooner or later, might as

well save some money from the get go.
