flywheel damage

is there anyway to tell if there is damage done to the flywheel that can mess with anything inside the cases? mine has a little bit of marks on it from a flywheel puller, but they used the wrong one. I bought the quad and havent started it yet and waiting on some parts, but was just curious

Marks on it from a puller? You mean like around the edge like a gear puller was used or in the threads where a banshee puller was used. If a gear puller was used throw that flywheel away. Could be out of round and all jacked up. I wouldnt re-use one that was in question, but im kinda picky about my stuff.

yea, it is kinda warped. it looks like a gear puller was used. it deff. wasnt a banshee puller
