97 shee for sale

hey guys , im selling a 97 banshee , it has a brand new top end with about 4-5 hours on it . it has been bored .050 over and has wiseco prolites . with new wrist bearings . and cometic gaskets . before it was bored i had a local guy that does porting work do the intake ports alittle to clean them up . then it got bored . the head was shaved .020 and has 175 psi cranking. while the motor was apart we put brand new v-force reeds in , and removed the tors .

 

the bike has most of your typical banshee hop up parts , like pro-design billet air filter holder , boost bottle , ims shift lever . after market low rise handle bars . new clutch cable , new throttle cable , new sprockets and new D.I.D chain . also new rear brake pads . swing arm chain slide {im not sure what brand but looks like on of those amp links } also has full underside skid plate , and rear skid plate . meir black fenders .

 

the pipes are used fmf gold series pipes . we liked the look of the new sst power core 2 pipes so we got a set of those and put an exstension on so we could use them with the gold series pipes .

 

 

about 1 hour into the motor break in the clutch went . so we put a new barnett clutch in it with heavy springs and while the cover was off we put a pro-design billet water pump impeller in .

 

all bearings are tight . no play in anything .

 

it has after market wheels but i cant tell what kind they have no manufactuer stamping on them . they are tarnished and with alittle bit of elbow grease should shine nice. it also has pure sport bandits on the front and realtors on the back . booth have about 50% tread left

 

 

all in all this banshee had an easy life , the frame has no dents on the bottom of it and was powder coated within the last few years and has no chips on it .

 

 

 

i am asking 2800.00 for it . its basically an all new machine just 10 years old . the only thing i can find wrong with it is the tires after about 10 hours one front tire and one rear tire go flat . other than that it is trail worthy or will climb any hill out there .

 

reason for selling is i like my 4x4 better . and just dont have the time to go out and goof off and get hurt .
