OnlyA2Stroke
I just ordered a stiffer spring today and Erica was great to deal with and sounded hot too. Anyways, she asked me a bunch of questions but I added about 25 lbs to my wait so I would get a stiffer spring. Is that alright? I way 185lbs and asked for a spring rate to support 215 lbs with all gear. I just don't want to get to stiff of a spring to bounce my ass off my bike after a jump. She also, said the spring would be red or blue(I hope not on my black/red bike). Well, any info would help if I should tell them to drop the weight. Thanks
letsgetthisdone
they should've asked for your wieght, riding style/skill level, and swinger wieght. that way you get the right spring...
OnlyA2Stroke
they did ask all of that. I told her that I ride sand dunes, trails, grave rodes, hills. I am an intermediate level rider and that I weight 215 lbs with all gear on, but only about 195 lbs with all gear on. I want to know if adding the extra 20 lbs was ok? Justintoxicated
When I talked to them, they asked for my Weight (Without Gear), Skill/Style, and Swingarm LENGTH not weight. But you have to have the shock revalved too to go with your spring in order to make a really noticable improvement, otherwise yes, your just getting more spring.
