Bansheekid07 Posted August 25, 2007 Report Posted August 25, 2007 ok.... right now my banshees perfict with just toomey t-5 pipes and jet kit air box.....i do all trails with somne sand. im getting tires and maby shave the head. BUt i wanna build like a sleeper motor. what can i do so i can run lke pump gass but have a bad ass motor..... i need ideas and i dont want to spend tonds of money.......open to all ideas plz help Quote
XxMeltIcexX Posted August 25, 2007 Report Posted August 25, 2007 A port job is the only way to make it look like a "Sleeper" The port job and the shaved head will be plenty for you for a while, id build around that ported motor with intake/carbs/clamp on K&Ns etc.. And about the porting, dont ask us whos the best, do some research. Call each builder up and talk to him, see if hes a fit for you... EDIT: Remind you that if you shave the head and your compressions over 150 psi ur gonna run some race gas... Eric Quote

Eric so im sorry bout this stupid question but im 14 and new to the banshee world but do i got to run bigger carbs and stuff when i do a port or what? what do i got to change when its ported. Quote

Stock carbs will work just fine, larger ones will just wake it up even more. Like i said, work around the porting, everything stock will work fine with porting, after porting id go with reeds then an intake then some larger carbs. Quote
