Ok so i took some advice and just ordered the toomey t5s and got me some vforce 3 valves. my shee is bone stock moter wise only mod on it is k+n filter when i got the kit it came with 3 stages of jets and a needle what would be the best way to jet my shee. no altitude here. anything else i need to consider into the elements?

my advise would be to call toomey....tell them your mods and elevation

they should be able to put you close to spot on

 

too bad you just bought those pipes.....

i got a set of beautiful t5's for sale with cascade clamps and the alba sparky trick already done.

The alba sparky trick is a screen they sell with "USFS Forestry approved" screens for spark arrestors...

I've heard mixed results on this one...some say they work, but don't last.

 

Others at Silver Lake dunes (they require spark arrestors) say the DNR hasseled them big time.

 

To get back to the poster....jet kits IMO are a waste...too generic.

 

If you have just pipes and reeds, with an airbox and a lid...260 to 280 is probably where you'll end up on the main.

If you removed the air box lid, 270 to 300 is gonna be the main.

 

Here's how you check...but you MUST follow the instructions.
