wood Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 i wanted to know if your reed pedals can go bad,or should they last for a long time,is there a way to know if they are bad. Quote
shanYE west Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 Yes the pedals can go bad. The reeds are supposed to lay flat on the cage. For some reason the VF3 use such a light tension reed that it is normal to have a small gap at the end of the pedals. But if the reed gap is out of spec then they're bad. I would call mototassinari (v-force) and find out what the spec is. If you need a new set of pedals I have a brand new set that i'll sell for 80.00 shipped. Quote
dajogejr Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 Generally...when the VF3 go bad, they chip and break off a bit. they normally have a small gap, too....and of course they can go bad!! Quote

wood Posted July 2, 2007 Author Report Posted July 2, 2007 yes they were bad,how do i get the inside pedals out. Quote
shanYE west Posted July 2, 2007 Report Posted July 2, 2007 you have to push out the reed stay then they'll pop out. You can only push it out from one side. Quote
