The Faster Cracker
ok so i put on an EZ drain the other day and noticed a small line that hooks up 2 something that looks like what would be the oil pump on a blaster. is that what that is? do i need to worry about making sure that i got something line up behind that cover when i put it back on? KaosBanshee44
Line is it like a little hose it could be just a vaccum pump and i'm sure they didn't put that hose there for looks so i'm sure it helps aid something and should be connected if it's going to your oil pump. You saying it's on a blaster or a banshee?
The Faster Cracker
the line runs out of the water pump cover up underneath the gas tank and i lost it from there. its on my 06 banshee. the blaster part comes in from when i did the oil pump block of kit on my blaster. the opening that it comes out of looks just like the opening where the oil pump would be on a blaster. same shape and bolt placement and everything. fastbanshee8
That hose is the vent hose for the transmission, and it hooks into a plastic tee above the carbs, or at least mine does. It vents excess pressure, when things start heating up inside the case, and it will leak trans fluid, if the trans is over filled.
KaosBanshee44
Yeah so i would go ahead and make sure that is connected so it don't leak junk in your waterpump assy. I knew it had something to do with a vacumm pressure or something.
