marcus1 Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 i recently picked up my first shee an 87 the carbs were messed up i recently rebuilt them now it still not running right what ive done is removed lid new uni filter it has crappy dg pipes 12 tooth sprocket up front 22" tires everything else is stock,except its suposedly bored .30 over w/ weiscos i live in mass elvation @480 avg temp now 60-90 i do alot of trails some sand pit ridin could someone gine me a close baseline on needle, main and pilot jets the shee had a 200 w/ kit but it was to lean now has 250 better but still not right seems rich on low and mid top seems okay but i could be wromg please help Quote

If it seems rich on the bottom end,. raise your needle clips. raise as in toward the blunt end, not the pointed. stock 25 pilot is fine after you get the needle set right for low&mid,. then get your air screws for you idle/off idle responce. marcus1 Posted June 17, 2007 Author Report Posted June 17, 2007 thanks i forgot to mention tors has been disabled, like i said i rebuilt carbs with a moose kit and with the 250 jets i had i set the clip one down from top. blunt end it still feel like i need to go up as in leaner also i'm looking at 34 pj,s wouldthey work with what i got or is it overkill right now i do plan to port and get v3s down the road and fmfs what u think Quote
