Droppedatbirth Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 Would low coolant cause my banshee to turn off somtimes at idle? or could that be tors at all? i got home from riding today and seen that the coolant was leaking out from somwere and it was pretty low. Quote
EastCoast Banshee Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 How low? If its pretty low you may be leaking coolant into your cylinders. That could cause it to cut off. Quote
Snopczynski Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 Sounds like an idle issue, and a possible coolant issue. Was the bike real hot when you saw the coolant. Quote

I would get rid of the TORS even if its not causing the problem. My bike wouldnt run at an idle till i got rid of em. But like they said it could be a cooling issue Quote

Droppedatbirth Posted June 4, 2007 Author Report Posted June 4, 2007 Was the bike hot, does it have an overflow bottle? Yes it has an overflow bottle, there is a tiny bit in the bottom of it, when i got home from riding i seen the coolant on the bottom of my trailer coming from the front of the quad by the engine it looked like but that whole day the quad would idle ok then turn off for no reason somtimes... i dont have a temp guage on it but it seemed normal temp maby alittle hotter than usual but it was 100 Degrees out Quote
