Throttle Cables and switch - where and needed?

Looking for some assistance -

 

1. Where do I find a TORS 26-28mm throttle cable, cable snapped last weekend. Have the cap kit already with throttle screws...just need a new cable?

 

2. Is the switch wire needed for the thumb throttle?
