nicktoney Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 so lastnight i decided to take my shee to the field to rip around.. when i go to kick my shee, ill slowly run the kicker down just to line it all up, then ill give it a kick and it starts... well, when i slowly kicked down, it was really tight, then let go... like something was binding up... i thought a ring had jumped because it was making like a grinding sound... took the head off.. did notice anything.... took the jugs off... held the pistons while kicked down... still making noise... took motor out... sidecase/clutch off ..spun the sprocket (its in neutral) spun free.... spun the shaft the clutch was on... spun free.. tried spinning the crank... itll turn so far, then catch and bind and give a grind, then turn... time to split the case and see wtf is down there... yay. any ideas? hope its not time for a new crank Quote
