I have some wiseco pipe o rings that came in my top end kit, they're butted up against he cylinders and the pipes, no seal they're pinched all akward, and uneven. I was wondering what you guys use so it doesn't leak down the outside of the cylinders? Thanks, JD.

Shouldnt they just fit in the little slot in the end of the pipe? Maybe they got stretched somehow or another. I believe I have a set that came in a gasket kit I got from the Yamaha dealer, if you want them let me know I'll put them at your door for free...

I have the same problem with my left cyl. I'm loosening the pipe hangers, pipe clamps & springs to try & set as even as possible. It pinched & cut the upper part of the O Ring last ride. I'm also going to try bending the lower spring hooks to pull it up a bit more from the bottom. Hope that works for me, I'll let ya know.

Let me know what you come up with??

I have used the FMF o-rings that come in their exhaust spring kit and they seem to work well. Those are the only o-rings i have actually bought.

I also found an o-ring or two out in the dunes at Glamis that happen to be the same size as the Banshee o-rings. I have yet to need to use them, but they are in good shape and are sitting in my tool box.
