01blckbansh Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 i went riding today and i was running it kind of hard. going on some trails at my brothers house with a XR400. when i stopped for some gas i noticed that the coupler that is where the stinger and pipe meet melting a little. i have fmf fatty's. any help would be great. also. i beat this XR400 by a couple of lengths yesterday. today he took the baffle out of the muffler and stayed dead even. the XR is stock. I am bored .20 over, reeds and reed cages, K&N clamp ons, fmf fatty's and power core 2's , and brand new holeshot gncc's. i still have the stock sprockets front and rear. should i do a timing plate and/or do some sprockets ? i have a T.O.R.S. elemination kit arriving sometime this week.
