hinkle Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 i get spark on the first two kicks then nothing for the next 100. let it sit awhile and come back get spark on first two kicks. checked all the ohms according to the service manual everything checks out ok. any thoughts. thanks Quote
Whitbread Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 See if you can borrow a friend's flywheel. When the magnets inside fracture, they can do all sorts of weird things like what you describe. Also make sure none of the wires coming off the stator have rubbed through on the flywheel. Quote
