16/40

what do you guys think of 16/40 gearing for a passion stroker with cpis and 34mm carbs? too much gear? i mostly ride woods/open fields/fireroads/pavement.......just looking for an all around decent gear.....

 

also, does anyone know what size chain i need for this gearing on a stock swingarm? thanks

i used to run a 16-39 it was nice you didnt have to shift much. 6th gear you better be holding on cause your hauling azz with that high of gears.

 

with that high of gears you wont shift as much, which will make it nice.

 

 

chain just buy one a bit longer than stock and cut to length.
