I do not know much about what pistons are good for what but i talked to trinity racing and they recommended wiseco pro lites for my desert riding... Could it have possibly been installed wrong, or the wrong piston used? Quote

dajogejr Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 Sorry...but holding it WOT open for miles at a time is gonna melt just about any motor. You need to see if your jetting and overall motor health are in good shape. From spark plug to drain plug. Quote

Yeah, I think I got lost with the "I run lots of Wiseco pistons" part. Has he had alot of Wiseco pistons scuff his exhaust port? He would have been better off posting the message in French, as I would have had a good chance at understanding it then. :geek: Quote

I really have no idea either but something about 6th gear WFO all day or something. Add more oil to the mixture and richen the AFR. Bikes that need to run WFO condition for miles need twice the oil as trail machines. If it leans out, squeek! The banshee CAN do it much better than singles but I would want everything trued to a nats ass to keep it from self destructing. Brandon Quote
