shee starting and running problems

hi i just bought a 96 banshee long time rider first time banshee owner. when i first got the shee it ran fine. but a couple of days ago it didnt want to start. i kicked it and kicked it nothing. its got spark its got fuel its a stock shee except for the fmf fatty pipes and power core 2 mufflers. not shure of jetting. i live in midwest carbon fiber reeds. ican get it started with ether and one pipe has a lot of white smoke and the other sputters a little bit. when you rev it it backfires and pops throws flames out the muffler. i have taken the carbs out and cleaned them out real well and put them back on and still the same problem. not really a carb expert but i know my way around them. the plugs foul out really easy. If anyone has any idea could you please help me out because i want to ride the damn thing instead of look at it.

might have been dirty carbs.. you cleaned them but did you put the slides in the right carbs??? you could have them in backwards if they are in the wrong carb.. also check your choke tube in between the carbs...
