I got a 97 banshee and its my first 2 stroke machine ever. So far I changed the clutch and cleaned all old parts of the old clutch that broke up in the case out. Cleaned the air box and carbs but it doesn't kick over unless I spray some carb cleaner into the intake. Plugs are good, now I've removed the read cases and one of the ports was filthy dirt...looks like there may be some leakage in that seal so I put some gasket maker and letting it dry over night. I'm hoping this is my problem, anything else you guys could think of? Like I said, I'm brand new to 2 stroke so my terminology I'm sure is off.

Thanks!

It sounds like you have an air leak in the intake tract causing it to lean out. Check your gaskets and seals for crack or signs of leakage. You may wind up need to do a leak down test on your engine.

Thanks, we'll see what happens.
